Brand Work

Client: Nike

The Ask:
Nike wanted a story on one of China's top b-girls to complement its campaign for the Nike Air Sesh, a shoe designed for dancers. The challenge was to develop an angle that the Beijing videography team could use as a foundation for their accompanying video.

The Result:
A focus on how the dancer integrates martial arts techniques with fairy tale motifs in her moves. The finished article highlights her impressive athleticism and the rich cultural elements that shape her style.

Client: Re:think @ The Atlantic x Tito’s Vodka

The Ask: The Atlantic’s marketing arm, Re:think, wanted a multimedia Q&A with Amy Lukken, the "chief joyologist" at Tito’s Vodka.

The Result: The narrative was centered on how Tito’s integrates altruism into its corporate ethos and how the company has a “joy budget” to empower employees to support charitable causes. The final piece is a written Q&A with Lukken’s recorded audio peppered throughout.

Client: Louis Vuitton

The Ask: To write the food and beverage sections of Louis Vuitton’s inaugural Taipei guide.

The Result: A snapshot of Taipei’s vast culinary spectrum— from high-end restaurants to popular street food vendors. Over 200 listings and select features were written for this edition, which is currently out of print.
